The Psychomotor and Surgical Skills Lab is also the home to the Department’s in-house educational resource center. It currently houses over 100 educational DVDs on the latest surgical procedure techniques and equipment. In addition, a portable education station is also readily accessible for the needs of our faculty and residents.

Features dual optic teaching microscopes, instruments, inline suction and irrigation. - Instructor Station:
Fully-equipped station with an instructor’s console that can monitor and control student stations.
Central audio and video is available throughout a live demonstration. - Integrated Audio/Visual Media:
Includes three plasma screens, seven video cameras, twelve LCD monitors, audio reinforcement, and bi-directional teleconferencing for live demonstrations in the lab and in connected conference rooms. - Locker Room:
Secure storage lockers for personal belongings and a changing area with scrubs for all users. - Freezer Storage:
Two 30 cubic foot freezers and one 50 cubic foot refrigerator.
